Evolution + Cell Structure

Service Description

In this course students will gain a solid understanding of Evolution and Cell Structures. These topics have been struggle topics for many students in the past and Evolution in particular has been a struggle to get students to understand. The 4 week course will be split into two halves the first half over Cell Structures and the second over Evolution, In the end of each section they will accumulate their knowledge with a presentation about the topic they learned. We will watch videos, read articles and play quiz games to make learning these topics as interactive and engaging as possible. The amount of work for this course is moderate with most of the outside of class work being their presentations. List of Topics: Cell structures [cell theory, plant cells, animal cells, and organelle functions] and evolution [pre Darwin theory, Darwin evolution theory, and post Darwin discoveries] Prerequisites: NONE NEEDED. Just be ready to pay attention and participate and you will learn everything in the course. Materials: Laptop or desktop computer. Estevan is a junior at Cedar Hill Collegiate High School in Cedar Hill Texas. He is an active member of his NHS chapter and has done many community works projects in the past. He has been tutoring his underclassmen in 9th grade biology for 2 years. He is excited to teach topics he has seen many students struggle with in the past and hopes he can prepare students for their future biology classes. In his free time he enjoys playing guitar, listening to music, and playing video games.

Missing more than 50% of the regular classes without prior notice will result in 1 strike. If you reach 2 strikes, you will be prevented from registering for classes in the future.
