Service Description
Course Dates: 10/1, 10/8, 10/15, 10/22, 10/29, 11/5, 11/12, 11/19 Course Description: Intro to Java is an intensive, introductory course for students who have an interest in computer science and want to begin learning a programming language. The program consists of eight 90 minute lessons designed to build up programming fundamentals through mastery of basic Java concepts. This course is designed to introduce students programming that can lead the way to future large-scale applications and software. Course Topics: -Printing -Variables -Expressions -Conditionals -Methods -Loops Prerequisites: Knowledge of Algebra 1 Materials: Computer Original curriculum created by Jonathan Qiao. Instructor: Hima is a senior at North Creek High School. She is the current treasurer for her school’s HOSA and a member of FBLA and UNICEF. Outside of school, she does karate and hapkido and is on her school’s badminton team. In her free time, she enjoys playing table tennis, skiing, and spending time with family and friends. She has experience tutoring and teaching students in math, and looks forward to teaching Java this fall!

Missing more than 50% of the regular classes without prior notice will result in 1 strike. If you reach 2 strikes, you will be prevented from registering for classes in the future.
