Service Description

In this course, students will learn how to use CAD softwares and design their own devices in them. During the four weeks of this course students will gain an understanding of how to utilize the different features of softwares and understand the engineering background of mechanical parts. At the end of the course, students will be able to present their final projects on designing a functional part to solve a modern day problem of theirs. List of Topics: Engineering and Computer Aided Design (CAD) Prerequisites: No educational based prerequisites General motivation for learning new concepts Ability to problem solve Materials: No materials other than a computer and internet connection Computer minimum requirements: Windows- 8.1(64 Bit) Apple- High Sierra 10.13 Processor: 64 bit processor, 4 cores, 1.7 Ghz Teacher: Arjun Verma is a Freshman at Indian Hill High School who is involved in science and technology fields. At his school he participates as captain in the robotics team, a member of the DECA club, and LAtin club. He is mainly focused in STEM oriented fields with a larger emphasis on engineering and Computer Aided Design (CAD). In his free time he enjoys practicing his violin, playing video games, and reading.
